5 Things I Always Have with Me in the Studio

The studio is like my second home – there are a few things I just have to have with me. Some are practical, some a bit quirky, but all of them are part of my little studio ritual. So here are my top 5 personal essentials – with a few fun facts thrown in.

1. My Favorite Lip Balm

I can’t function without it. Studio air is usually dry, and my lips feel it first. I literally have one in every bag, just in case!

Fun fact: I once tried to go a day without it. After 3 hours I gave up and bought a new one. No regrets.

2. My Crystal Water Bottle

I always stay hydrated – but with style. My glass water bottle has beautiful crystals inside – usually rose quartz or clear quartz. It looks magical and gives me good vibes throughout the day.

Little routine: I take a mindful sip before I start anything – whether it’s recording vocals or setting up for a facial. A mini reset with every drink. ✨

3. My Studio Notebook

I’m a scribbler. Lyrics, treatment ideas, to-do lists, random thoughts – they all go in here. I’d be lost without it.

Fun fact: Some of my best lyric lines came to me just before going to sleep.

4. My “Good Vibes” Playlist

The right music = the right mood. I always have a playlist going when I enter the studio. It sets the tone, helps me focus, and sparks inspiration.

Insider tip: There’s one song that gets me into the zone every single time. Guess which one? 😄

5. My Little Amethyst Crystal

Believe it or not, it helps me stay grounded and creative. I usually place it somewhere near me – especially if I know I’ll be in the studio for a while.

Fun fact: I almost dropped it in the sink once. Now it has a special spot on the shelf – safe and sound.

What are your personal work essentials? Any weird or wonderful things you always have with you? Let me know – I love hearing about other people’s rituals!
