There’s this unspoken narrative that if you’re not constantly visible, you must have stopped.
If you’re not touring, releasing, posting, announcing — you’re “out”.
But I didn’t quit music.
I redefined my relationship with it.
Music is no longer something I chase — it’s something I live with. Some days intensely, some days quietly. Sometimes on a stage, sometimes alone with a laptop and a pair of headphones.
I’m not interested in burning myself out to fit an outdated image of success. I’ve done the hustle. I’ve lived the pressure. And I’ve learned that sustainability is more important than momentum.
Redefining music for me means:
- choosing projects that feel aligned
- allowing phases of quiet creation
- saying no without guilt
- trusting that pauses don’t erase progress
I’m still here. Still creating. Still deeply connected.
Just without the need to explain myself all the time.
