This summer, I decided to slow things down with a relaxing getaway to the beautiful Ligurian coast. Varazze stole my heart with its charming beach vibes, stunning sea views, and welcoming locals. I stayed at Hotel Le Palme, just a short walk from the beach. It was the perfect home base – cozy, clean, and super friendly. The palm trees outside gave it a true Mediterranean feel, and breakfast in the garden each morning was a dream. If you’re looking for a relaxed and central place to stay in Varazze, this one’s a winner.
🌴 Day Trip to Celle Ligure
One of the highlights of the trip was a spontaneous day trip to Celle Ligure, the next town over – just a short drive or scenic walk away. It’s smaller and even more tranquil than Varazze, with narrow streets, pastel-colored buildings, and a peaceful beach. I grabbed gelato, wandered the cute alleys, and soaked in the Italian summer vibes.

If you’re craving sunshine, calm beaches, and a slice of Ligurian charm without the huge tourist crowds, Varazze and Celle Ligure are perfect. It’s not about doing too much – it’s about enjoying the moment.
